Kumarwarti Multiple Campus was established in 1989 A.D. (2045 B.S.) in Kawasoti, Nawalparasi, with the strong support of local leaders, teachers, ex-army personnel, social workers, and community members. At a time when higher education was difficult to access in rural areas, the campus was founded with the vision of providing affordable and quality education to students within their own community.

In the early years, the campus began with a small number of students and limited programmes, focusing mainly on Proficiency Certificate Level (PCL) and foundational courses. The people of 37 surrounding villages contributed financially, socially, and physically to develop the campus, making it a true community-owned institution rooted in local participation and collective effort.

Over the decades, the campus has grown into a well-established academic institution offering:

• +2 programmes (Management & Education)

• Bachelor-level programmes (BBS, B.A., B.Ed.)

• Master-level programmes (MBS, M.A. Sociology, M.Ed.)

This expansion reflects the campus’s continuous dedication to academic excellence and its mission to uplift the educational status of the Nawalpur region.

Kumarwarti Multiple Campus has played a major role in transforming Kawasoti into an emerging educational and administrative center. The campus leadership describes it as a “torchbearer of higher education” for Nawalpur, opening doors for thousands of students who otherwise would not have access to higher studies.

In recent years, the campus has focused on strengthening infrastructure, enhancing teaching quality, and moving towards quality assurance and accreditation standards.
